West Yorkshire County Performance Trials 2021
The WY Performance team are inviting athletes for a late/second trial for their new satellite academy.
These county performance trials are part of the England Netball Performance Pathway for U15’s, which we are responsible for and we will be working in conjunction with Leeds Rhinos Netball to hopefully develop future athletes to move through the county programme and into the Superleague franchise. We are looking for athletes currently in years 5 to 10 for the 2021-22 season. The second/late trial will take place on Sunday 17th October at Bradford College between 2pm-6.30pm, so please ensure your daughter is available during this time in order to trial. The performance programme for the 2021-22 season will take place in Bradford on Mondays or Tuesdays, and if your daughter is successful, she will be allocated a place in a group on one of these nights. Please be aware that due to the number of trialists and athletes we have, we will be unable to accommodate any specific requests for training days or times next season. When completing the form, please can we ask that you check the contact details carefully and your email address is correct as this is what will be used for future correspondence. You will also need to provide the name of a teacher/ coach to support with the trial application, and give a reason for the late/second trial. A trial will only be offered upon receipt of a reason. Unfortunately for the first trial we had a significant number of athletes who were a no show on the day and without any contact up to or on the day, who will not be offered a second trial. Please only complete the trial form if your daughter will be available for all of the trial date and times, and for the Monday/Tuesday training. The cost for a late/second trial is £10 and payment details are on the trial form. Please quote REF: WYT*name* (e.g. Athlete A Smith = WYTASmith).
