West Yorkshire balls loved in Uganda and India
West Yorkshire netball have kindly donated balls to the Netball Development Trust, and they have already been used both in Uganda and India, to the delights of the children. The Trust offers netball training and a tournament to around 400 children per week. We give the schools kit and equipment, donated from clubs and schools in the UK, so they can continue to play. Almost more importantly though, we work with teachers and young leaders to develop their coaching skills, so netball can continue to grow once we leave their country, and so the children can enjoy playing the game we love.
The Trust are always after kit and equiment to take out on tour with us. We are also very interested to talk to anyone who could fundraise or make a donation to us. And of course, there is always the opportunity to come on tour with us to experience an incredible few weeks coaching, officiating and making new friends.
