The West Yorkshire Senior League is made up of 7 divisions of c10 teams per division . The games are played on Saturdays at centralised venues across the West Yorkshire region. The management, organisation and administration of this league is overseen by the West Yorkshire League Committee. Please look on ‘our team’ page for the main contacts. The terms of reference for this committee can be accessed via this link. The league is mainly adults, although children over the age of 14 are eligible to play. All players should be over 14 years of age at midnight on 31st August/1st September prior to the commencement of the league season, unless written permission has been given from the England Netball Head Office Competition & Events Manager to play in the West Yorkshire Netball League. The written permission and age banding reference must be submitted to the relevant results secretary prior to that player participating in the league. The forms to be completed are available on the England Netball Website The range of players and variations in standard is large. There is something for everyone - some of the teams in the Super League also play in Regional Leagues whereas we have new teams entering in Division 5 who have recently formed and play in our ‘unqualified’ division Please do contact us via ‘our team’ |
